How Slab uses Elixir
Slab chose Elixir and Phoenix to build a collaborative knowledge base. Its early proof of concept let multiple people write a blog post together and see comments arrive in real time.
Channels and PubSub supported live comments; Presence tracked people editing a document and their cursor colors. Elixir tasks supplied asynchronous processing without requiring a separate application stack.
